A college student who uploads ‘caught on camera’ style prank videos to YouTube has unveiled his latest, called Holding Hands With Strangers, which has turned into internet sensation overnight.
The Daily MailThis just reminds me of the time I felt super threatened when a person I didn’t know ran up alongside of me when I was walking alone on campus at night. You see how the one girl in the green shirt reacted? Cool! 1 degree away from harassment. The only way I’d laugh is if he got maced.
My ex used to do this to girls at bars as an icebreaker or something. Many of his friends were hopeless about meeting women & this was the “move” he would always suggest. He thought it was charming (and probably used it as a way to identify women with low self-esteem) but I found it incredibly sleazy. I can’t believe nobody ever smacked them in the balls for it that I’m aware of, because that would have been my instinct when I was in college.
Maybe the rules are different in a lit public area at school, but I have a very low tolerance for crap like this at bars. I’ve had way too many creeps overstep my personal boundaries or wait for me by my car in a dark parking lot to let even a cheeky hand holding slide.
